Hello everyone! My name is Ask and write/draw the webcomic
Mistika.
I am a Maltese classical archaeologist, currently based in Germany, aiming to do my doctorate here as well. Even though I am a full-time student, with currently 3 jobs to keep me afloat, I also draw comics in my little free time. Drawing comics has been my go-to for quite a few years now, but I have never quite found a place in order to share my stories.
Previous webcomics of mine were
Malta & co (now lost in the midst of time),
The Shadow Man (a short comic also lost in time),
Nero in da Domus (which I hope to continue one day) and the short-lived
The Excavation (also aiming to bring it back in the future).
Mistika has been on my to-do list since 2014, continuously evolving. It started with just one character, Mathias, back then and now it's a whole town with different stories and insights waiting to be told. I am very excited to share these stories with you all.
The schedule will hopefully be that I'll update on
Wednesdays, once I have a chapter batch ready. Sadly I cannot promise that it will be weekly or regularly, due to studies and work. If you want to support me or read the comic once the pages are done, you can support my work over on
